CME announces today that Vladimír Mužík will be taking on the role of CME’s Director of Digital Transformation – Informative Programming. CME pursues attracting audiences through traditional TV news broadcasting and other channels such as websites and social media. Vladimír Mužík will develop strategies to leverage all digital content, working closely with the CME Editorial Board and news directors across CME markets. In his role, he will enhance, innovate and refine the standards of informative programming formats in linear TV, adapting them to various digital platforms.

CME is committed to the “anytime, anywhere” audience experience. CME’s success with VOYO and its digital entertainment transformation must now be mirrored in news and informative programming.

Commenting on his appointment, Vladimír Mužík said: “Throughout my media career, I’ve seen the dramatic digitalization of print media. Vladimír Mužík is a journalist and media professional. After graduating from Palacký University Olomouc, he started his career as editor-in-chief at Ringier Axel Springer Media, first in Bratislava, then in Prague. He then joined CET 21 (today CME) as head of corporate communications. In 2011, he joined TV Nova as the head of news, responsible for setting editorial direction and maintaining editorial integrity through objective and unbiased reporting. In 2014, he joined MAFRA Slovakia as CEO, overseeing its critical digital transformation and leading its strategy, operations and growth initiatives in a fiercely competitive media environment.
