
Dušan Švalek, CME Deputy Chief Executive Officer responsible for Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Croatia, is leaving the company for personal reasons and taking a career break.
On an interim basis, Klára Brachtlová, currently CME's Chief External Affairs, takes over Dušan Švalek's responsibilities until a successor is recruited. Concurrently with her new interim responsibilities, Klára Brachtlová retains her existing external affairs duties for the Czech market and with the EU authorities in Brussels.
In addition, from 1 October 2024, Martin Schaffer, a senior management member of PPF, will be appointed as CME's International Affairs Officer, responsible for all CME markets other than the Czech Republic.
Regarding their external and international affairs duties, Klára Brachtlová and Martin Schaffer will work closely with Jan Růžička, PPF's Head of External Affairs.
