CME and TV Nova Announce Organizational Changes to Accelerate Growth and Digital Transformations

CME and TV Nova are pleased to announce a series of organizational changes to accelerate the group’s growth and its digital transformation. Effective 1 January 2023, Daniel Grunt will be appointed CEO at TV Nova and will focus on strengthening the leading position of TV Nova and its innovative programming, as well as driving the digital transformation of TV Nova with a particular focus on the continued growth of the VOYO platform. Daniel will retain his position as CME chief digital officer for an interim period until his successor is named. Also, effective 1 January 2023, Dušan Švalek will become deputy CEO of CME and assume leadership for operations in Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia. As part of the ongoing strengthening of leadership team at CME, current TV Nova co-CEO Klára Brachtlová will become CME Chief External Affairs, while TV Nova co-CEO Jan Vlček will become CME Group Revenue Officer, both will report to Dušan. Klára will lead initiatives that foster strategic partnerships and expand relationships with industry leaders, as well as working closely with Dušan to help manage the operational agenda at CME. Jan will continue to support the sales effort at TV Nova and work on strategic initiatives such as targetable advertising, an effort that will be felt across all CME markets.
