After almost 13 years at the helm of PRO TV, Aleksandras Cesnavicius will conclude his tenure as Chief Executive Officer. Effective September 1, Christian Anting will take over as CEO of PRO TV, leading the company into its next phase of development.

Sam Barnett, CEO of CME Group, thanked Aleksandras for his contribution to PRO TV and welcomed Christian to the Group:

Aleksandras has made an outstanding contribution to PRO TV over almost 13 years. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its position as the leader of Romania’s media market, delivered consistently strong results in a rapidly changing industry. I would like to thank Aleksandras for his leadership, commitment and everything he has contributed to PRO TV and CME. During Aleksandras’s tenure, PRO TV has further strengthened its leadership of the Romanian media market, driven by strong audience performance and consistent financial growth. With a clear focus on performance and development, he has guided the company’s evolution and, in recent years, accelerated the growth of VOYO, which has become an important pillar of the company’s strategy.

Christian Anting brings more than 25 years of international media experience across television, streaming and digital businesses. He most recently served as Board Member of TV3 Group in the Baltics, following seven years as the company’s Group CEO. Previously, he spent eight years at TVN Group in Poland, where his responsibilities included leading the Group’s digital transformation and OTT activities. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at SBS Broadcasting, C More Entertainment, KirchGroup and Premiere, now Sky Deutschland.
